Last updated: August 2026. This page explains what information WSK Commerce collects, why, and how it's handled — for shop owners using the platform, their staff, and the customers who shop on a WSK Commerce-powered store.
WSK Commerce is software that retail businesses ("shop owners") use to run their point-of-sale, inventory, and online store. This policy covers three kinds of people: people who fill out our own Request a Demo form, shop owners and their staff who use the admin/POS system, and the customers who place orders or create accounts on an individual shop's storefront.
Demo requests: when you fill out the Request a Demo form, we collect your name, business type, phone number and/or email, and any message you add. We use this only to contact you about setting up a demo — nothing here is sold or shared with third parties.
Shop owner and staff accounts: account holders provide a name and login credentials, plus whatever business data they choose to enter — products, prices, stock levels, sales, and staff records. This data belongs to the shop owner and is used to operate their store.
Storefront customers: a customer creating an account or checking out on a shop's online store provides a name, and typically a phone number, email, and delivery address, so their order can be fulfilled. This information is visible to the shop they ordered from — each shop's data is kept separate from every other shop on the platform.
WSK Commerce uses cookies only to keep you signed in (a session cookie, scoped to the specific shop you're logged into). We don't run third-party advertising or tracking scripts, and we don't use cookies to build advertising profiles.
Information is used to operate the account it belongs to: running a shop's POS and inventory, fulfilling a customer's order, sending order or account-related notifications, and following up on a demo request. We don't sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
We don't share shop or customer data with third parties except where necessary to provide the service itself (for example, a payment method a shop owner has enabled, or a delivery provider a shop owner uses) or where required by law.
Shop owners can export their own data at any time, and the platform keeps automatic backups so a shop's records aren't lost to accidental deletion. If a shop owner closes their account, their data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary before deletion.
Shop owners and customers can ask to review, correct, or delete the personal information associated with their account by contacting the shop they interact with (for storefront data) or WSK Commerce directly (for platform-level data), via the Request a Demo form.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
This page is a general description of how the platform actually handles data, not a substitute for formal legal advice — if you need a privacy policy tailored to a specific jurisdiction's requirements, have it reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it.
